Lark + Asana
Receive automatic chat notifications in Lark when you create or modify Asana tasks.
What is Lark?
Lark is a new take on the office suite that is transforming workplace collaboration. Lark effectively combines messaging, video meetings, schedule management, and online collaborative documents in a single platform. Connect Asana to your Lark account to streamline your work and empower your team members to collaborate for increased efficiency.
Lark gives you real-time updates based on actions you take in Asana, like:
- New task has been created
- Existing task has been modified or its status has been changed
- Task has been assigned to you
You can also create new Asana tasks right from Lark conversations. There are two main ways you can create Asana tasks in Lark:
Method 1: Type “create” in a chat with the Asana bot. (For example, type: Create team-building event)
Method 2: Type “create” in a group chat and @mention Asana. (For example, type: @Asana connector Create team-building event)

The Lark + Asana integration is free to all Asana users that have a Lark account. To set up the integration:
